Job Overview:
As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing either the build or test functions of our operations. Your leadership will be key to improving collaboration and efficiency across departments, ensuring that our processes run smoothly and meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations Manager – Build: Lead and manage the build process from initial production to final assembly.
• Operations Manager – Test: Oversee the testing phase, ensuring all systems meet performance standards before delivery.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams, production schedulers, production management, and project managers to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain a strong on-site presence, splitting time between two key locations within a short distance of each other.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, managing projects that often involve rework and adapting to varied production processes.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in an operations management role, with a strong background in heavy manufacturing, ideally within an engineered-to-order environment.
• Proven ability to manage complex, customized projects, focusing on efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing production challenges.
• Willingness to be hands-on and present on-site to ensure the success of operations.
