Controller
SkyWater is excited to be partnering with a fast-growing, CPG company to help them find their next Controller! This individual will report directly to the CEO and have strategic oversight for all finance and accounting functions. This is a fully remote role that will require periodic travel. Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting functions, including AR/AP.
- Prepare annual budget, monthly financial reports and schedules (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows, etc.), Monthly Board Updates and Quarterly Board Meetings
- Prepare weekly aging and cash flow statements
- Maintain the general ledger
- Prepare weekly sales reports & KPI reports
- Develop, review and maintain business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls and establishes proper techniques to discover and prevent fraud
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- 7+ years of diversified accounting experience
- Working knowledge of GAPP accounting principles
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have experience working in a financial capacity for a PE owned business and a CPG business
