Associate, Accounting & Finance

As an Associate at SkyWater Search, Nick works with a “full desk” on the Accounting and finance team. The team focuses on growth-oriented, middle-market companies based in the Midwest.

Nick grew up in Ramsey, Minnesota. He attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in communications. While there, he played on the Men’s Ice Hockey team as a Bulldog and won an NCAA National Championship.

Prior to joining SkyWater, Nick spent 8 years at State Farm Insurance, where he specialized in property and casualty sales and financial services.

Nick currently lives in Coon Rapids with his wife, their two daughters, a dog and a cat. He enjoys sports and spending time with friends and family. In the summer months, he is an avid golfer and always watches Minnesota sports teams. He also enjoys going to breweries, staying active, and traveling all around Minnesota.

Within Accounting and finance, Nick specializes in recruiting and placing talent in full-time, permanent positions at various levels and titles: CFO, Controllers, Accounting Managers, Senior Accountants, VP Finance, Finance Directors, Finance Managers, Senior Financial Analysts, Audit Directors, and Audit Managers. His team can also work on staff-level accounting and finance roles.
