Our client is a market leading construction rental services company with multiple locations throughout the Midwest.  Although they’re headquartered here in the Twin Cities, they have a broad reach of both local and national clients across several different industries. With a wide range of specialty offerings, they’re able to cater to a variety of different audiences creating an endless supply of growth opportunities.

Their team is looking to add a Director of Sales capable of creating a Go-To-Market strategy focused on both short-term and long-term goals, building and coaching a sales team to execute the plan, and playing a pivotal role in generating transformative growth for the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute a Go-To-Market strategy to reach aspirational company goals
  • Lead a sales team through transformative growth using data driven decision making processes
  • Hire, train, lead, and develop a dedicated sales team to hit weekly, monthly & yearly sales goals
  • Analyze market data to forecast sales projections and identify new business opportunities
  • Create a clear line of communication with the Operations team for client support
  • Provide exceptional customer service internally and externally
  • Meet and exceed new business sales and revenue quotas

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years experience managing a dedicated sales and service department
  • Experience in the construction or rental services industry strongly preferred
  • Previous history of leading a sales team through a large growth period
  • Comfortable using a CRM system to analyze KPIs - preferably Salesforce
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a great driving record
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Sales and/or Marketing
