Assistant Quality Engineering Manager
The Assistant Quality Manager role is crucial in ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained across our products and services. Responsibilities
- Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee and support the resolution of quality issues and customer complaints.
- Supervise and mentor a team of quality assurance specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to enhance team performance and morale.
- Identify areas for improvement in quality processes and systems, and recommend and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize quality control processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality assurance documentation, including procedures, reports, and records.
- Prepare and present quality performance reports to management, highlighting trends, issues, and improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies related to quality assurance.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in quality management.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proven leadership abilities with effective team management and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in quality assurance software and tools.
