Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to lead and oversee the engineering team. This role involves managing engineering projects, ensuring efficient processes, and driving innovation to meet organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Oversee engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and product development, to align engineering activities with organizational objectives.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the engineering department’s budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
  • Innovation: Drive the development and implementation of innovative solutions to improve products and processes.
  • Compliance: Ensure engineering practices meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, technical specifications, and process guidelines.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related field); a master’s degree is preferred.
  • 7+ years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and product design.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated success in leading engineering teams and managing complex projects.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
