Manufacturing Engineering Manager
SkyWater is partnering with a manufacturer in the North metro who’s looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join their team! The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will oversee the manufacturing engineering function while leading a small team. This includes resolving any manufacturing issues, finding process efficiencies, looking for cost-savings opportunities, working with cross-functional groups on projects, and much more. This is a newly created role due to growth and we’re looking for an experienced manufacturing engineer with some experience leading or supervising employees. Responsibilities
- Oversee the site manufacturing operations while leading a small team and distributing projects/responsibilities.
- Identify opportunities for manufacturing process improvements and look for cost-savings opportunities.
- Work with cross-functional teams and company leadership to achieve strategic department objectives.
- Resolve manufacturing issues as they arise and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Other projects or responsibilities as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- 2+ years in a management, supervisory or lead role.
- Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
