Responsibilities
- Deliver precise and timely reporting of financial transactions to maintain organizational integrity.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of general ledger account discrepancies to drive actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain recurring journal entries to ensure efficiency in financial workflows.
- Accurately prepare assigned account reconciliations and meet deadlines for month-end processes.
- Provide forward-thinking analysis and assistance to the finance team to support strategic goals.
- Uphold Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) documentation standards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Prepare and deliver requested documentation for internal and external audits.
- Tackle data requests and special projects with enthusiasm and precision.
- Support team members as needed to balance workloads and ensure timely, accurate task completion.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred, with 2+ years of accounting experience.
- Familiarity with Oracle, JDE, or similar systems; experience with OneStream is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- CPA or CMA preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex financial scenarios.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse departments across the organization.
- Competence in applying mathematical concepts like fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to real-world situations.
- Willingness to work overtime during peak activity periods to meet deadlines.
- A proactive, detail-oriented teammate with excellent verbal and written communication skills, eager to grow professionally.
