Chief Operating Officer
.Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee and optimize all aspects of our client’s day-to-day dairy production operation. As the COO, you will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, strategic growth, and ensuring the continued success and sustainability of our operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality that their brand is known for.

Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the organization, ensuring efficient production, distribution, and delivery of dairy products.
- Implement strategies to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency, while upholding product quality and safety standards.
- Work closely with the executive team to align operational activities with the company’s long-term goals and objectives.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration between production, logistics, quality assurance, and other operational departments. Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive leadership to develop and execute short- and long-term operational strategies.
- Set operational goals, metrics, and KPIs, and monitor performance to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision-making and the adoption of industry best practices in dairy production and distribution. Supply Chain Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring a reliable and cost-effective sourcing of ingredients, raw materials, and packaging.
- Foster and manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and distributors to ensure timely and quality deliveries.
- Implement sustainable practices in the supply chain and explore opportunities for innovation in sourcing and production methods. Quality Control & Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure operational compliance with industry regulations, food safety standards, and quality control requirements.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to continuously monitor and improve product quality.
- Maintain a strong focus on adhering to all regulatory guidelines and ensuring consistent, high-quality output. Financial Management:
- Develop and oversee the operational budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and optimal financial performance.
- Identify opportunities for cost reductions and improved efficiency across operations.
- Work with the finance team to assess operational performance, analyze financial data, and adjust strategies as necessary to meet financial goals. Innovation & Growth:
- Identify and implement opportunities for innovation in production processes, product development, and market expansion.
- Lead initiatives to scale operational capacity, improve production workflows, and explore new distribution channels and markets.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Proven experience (10+ years) in an operational leadership role within the food production, dairy, or consumer goods industries, with a strong understanding of food safety, quality control, and manufacturing.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, supply chain management, and operational optimization.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational success.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience with budget management, cost control, and financial performance analysis.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
