Quality Assurance Manager
SkyWater is partnering with a client in the South metro who’s looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join their team! The QA Manager will be responsible for ensuring a high quality standard is maintained across our client’s products & services. This includes developing, implementing, and maintaining a strong quality management system while building the quality culture & leading a small team of quality professionals. Our client is looking for someone with a strong background in quality assurance or quality engineering, experience leading team members (directly or indirectly), and someone with experience working in a machining environment. Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of quality professionals (mix of technicians & engineers).
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies & procedures.
- Conduct quality audits & inspections when needed.
- Oversee the resolution of quality issues and customer complaints.
- Lead root cause analysis projects and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality engineering (or combination of similar roles).
- 1+ year of experience in a lead, supervisor or management position overseeing employees (directly or indirectly).
- Experience working in a machining environment highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills (both written & verbal).
