National Sales Manager

Our client is a leading global manufacturer of emergency communications equipment and solutions. The Americas team is looking for a highly driven, highly motivated sales leader to take them through the next level of growth. In this role, you will be responsible for strategically planning, directing, and coordinating sales activities for your team. You will provide leadership for the Territory Sales Managers, coaching and training team members, along with implementing sales process with a primary focus on enhancing individual sales performance and effectiveness, sales optimization, and business & resource development. Further, you will be a part of a team that has a track record of delivering double digit compound growth while supporting each other. This position will be reporting to the Vice President Sales & Marketing – Americas and will oversee all Territory Sales Managers across the nation.

Responsibilities

  • Sales and profit goals are met or exceeded for the Americas business.
  • Sales forecasts, plans, and programs are appropriate and effective.
  • Sales objectives are executed in accordance with approved policies.
  • Current customer accounts are maintained or expanded and additional ones solicited. Good business relationships exist with customers and their needs are properly anticipated and satisfied.
  • Sales personnel are well-trained, efficient, and effective.
  • Vice President of Sales & Marketing- Americas is appropriately informed of Sales activities and significant problems. Useful, current feedback regarding field operations and competitive conditions is provided.
  • Key sales activities and opportunities are input into Salesforce by the sales team.
  • Team members are effectively meeting their objectives utilizing the processes and procedures set forth by the business

  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Power BI
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Sales, Engineering, and/or a related field or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales leadership capacity
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
