Production Supervisor (2nd Shift)
SkyWater Search Partners is excited to partner with a well known, returning client on a 2nd shift Production Supervisor position (Leading a team of 45). This privately held manufacturer has been growing at a 15% clip every year over the past decade. They’re the industry leader in their space and are not showing any signs of slowing down. Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high performing team (45 people) across two departments (Weld & Fabrication)
- Ensure ISO Procedures are followed
- Communicate with multiple shifts on lead times, scheduling, and any issues that arise.
- Responsible for ensuring that production schedules are on time
- Establishing and Managing Measurement Standards
- Work closely with internal departments to achieve production goals
- Utilize CI methodologies to improve productivity and quality
Desired Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of supervisor experience in a manufacturing setting
- Metal Fabrication or Welding experience preferred
- Ability to develop and coach others
- Knowledgeable in LEAN Manufacturing
- Exposure to CNC Machinery and being hands on out on the floor.
- Experienced setting objectives for production lines.
