Sr. Project Manager
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing cross-functional project teams to successfully execute complex and strategic projects within the organization. This role requires a strong background in project management, the ability to drive results, and a deep understanding of product development and manufacturing processes,
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of projects across multiple teams, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards.
- Manage project risks, resolve issues, and mitigate delays through proactive problem-solving.
- Collaborate with R&D, marketing, engineering, and operations teams to define project goals, deliverables, and resource needs.
- Drive continuous improvement by ensuring best practices are followed and by fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency.
- Provide regular project status updates to senior leadership, including key metrics, milestones, and project health.
- Develop detailed project plans, set milestones, allocate resources, and track progress to ensure the successful delivery of key initiatives.
- Manage project budgets, ensure cost control, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
- Build strong relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring high-quality deliverables within the defined timelines.
- Mentor and develop junior project managers and team members to improve skills and advance career growth.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification required.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a senior project management role, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-functional projects with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Expertise in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or similar).
- Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and ability to drive project results.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
