We are looking for a Process Excellence Lead with a focus on the Order to Cash (O2C) process to join our team. In this role, you will drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end O2C processes, ensuring that we optimize customer experience, reduce operational costs, and improve cash flow.
Position Overview: The Process Excellence Lead – Order to Cash (O2C) will be responsible for managing, enhancing, and transforming the end-to-end O2C process within our organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in process design, improvement, and performance metrics. You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Finance, IT, and Supply Chain to drive efficiency, eliminate bottlenecks, and align the O2C process with overall business objectives.
 

Responsibilities

  • Process Improvement & Optimization: o Lead initiatives to streamline and enhance the O2C process from order creation to cash receipt, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency. o Identify pain points and root causes of inefficiencies within the O2C process and implement sustainable process improvements. o Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment: o Partner with internal stakeholders including Sales, Finance, IT, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to align O2C processes with business needs and customer expectations. o Support and influence decision-making on process changes, system improvements, and technology integration that impact the O2C cycle.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: o Analyze O2C performance data and key metrics to identify areas for improvement. o Develop and maintain O2C dashboards and reports to track performance and highlight areas for continuous improvement. o Use data insights to make recommendations for system and process changes, aiming to optimize cash flow and reduce operational risk.
  • Change Management & Training: o Lead change management efforts for O2C process redesigns, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder buy-in. o Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging staff to contribute ideas for process enhancements.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: o Ensure adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements related to the O2C process. o Identify and mitigate operational risks within the O2C cycle, including credit management, billing, collections, and cash application.
  • Technology & Systems Enhancement: o Collaborate with IT and relevant teams to improve or implement systems and technologies (e.g., ERP systems, automation tools) that support O2C processes. o Champion the use of digital tools and solutions to enhance the O2C process, such as automated invoicing, payment processing, and customer communication.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) is a plus.
  • Experience: o Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in process improvement, preferably in Order to Cash (O2C) processes within a consumer goods or manufacturing environment. o Demonstrated expertise in leading cross-functional projects and driving process optimization initiatives. o Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Skills: o Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. o Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. o Proven ability to lead process redesign efforts and implement solutions effectively. o Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. o Ability to manage change effectively and foster a continuous improvement mindset across teams. o A solid understanding of the financial and operational aspects of the O2C cycle, including billing, collections, and cash management.
