1st Shift Production Supervisor
SkyWater Search Partners is excited to partner with a privately held manufacturer in search of a production supervisor to lead their production team. A small company culture with a global presence, we’re searching for a passionate people leader who loves developing teams and driving employee engagement along with hitting daily production goals.
This is a day shift position, hours will generally be 7a-3p with some flexibility, that will have coverage for parts of 1st and 2nd shift.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of 15 across 2 shifts
- Continuously improve productivity and quality.
- Drive employee engagement through monthly one-on-ones with production staff
- Ensure ISO Procedures are followed
- Strategically planning and labor planning for the division.
- Working with other production employees and leaders in multiple segments of the business
- Responsible for ensuring that production schedules are on time
- Establishing and Managing Measurement Standards
- Work closely with internal departments to achieve production goals
Desired Skills and Experience
- Proven supervisory/management experience in a manufacturing setting
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and guide employees.
- Proven success developing and coaching others
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience implementing manufacturing principles to meet or exceed production goals
