Responsibilities
- Drive month-end close activities, including preparing/ reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, intercompany support, etc.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements for the company
- Oversee and develop accounting team
- Research accounting issues for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Collaborate with senior leaders to drive operational effectiveness
- Liaison with external public accounting firm for annual external audit
- Other ad hoc procedures, as deemed necessary
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience in a fast-paced environment
- Public accounting experience and/ or CPA preferred
- Strong manufacturing experience required
- Solid month-end close/ financial statement compilation knowledge
- Hungry and passionate about growing as an accounting leader
