C++ Software Engineer
SkyWater Search is excited to partner with a Global Quantitative Trading Firm to find a C++ Software Engineer. You will work closely with top research, systems, and operations teams to design, implement and analyze new automated electronic trading algorithms from a modern office in part of Chicago’s Skyline.
What You’ll Do:
Software Development: Architect and implement new automated electronic trading algorithms and expand the firm’s proprietary trading platform.
Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with research and operations teams to implement new trading strategies and optimize existing ones.
Troubleshoot Trading Performance: Reconcile difference between trading strategy simulation and performance.
Research Industry Trends: Investigate new technologies to improve platform stability and performance.

Desired Skills and Experience
- 4-year technical degree
- Expert level experience with C++
- Background from another quantitative trading firm or a top tech company.
- Ability to commute to Chicago office and be on-site 5 days per week.
