Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a comprehensive history of project costs and compare estimated versus actual costs.
Develop relationships with subcontractors, manage bidding processes, and negotiate contracts to secure the best pricing.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
6-8 years of experience in pre-construction and estimating for large projects (over $30 million).
Additional certifications such as DBIA or LEED AP are preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, building systems, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and project management tools (On Center, Timberline, MC2 preferred).
Ability to travel to client and project sites as necessary.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present estimates clearly and effectively.

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic Electrical Construction team. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work both in the office and remotely. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in developing accurate and timely estimates, reviewing project specifications, and ensuring that projects move forward with the proper financial scope. Develop plan & spec, design-build, and design-assist estimates.

Participate in project turnover, setup, and post-project reviews.
Join design meetings with customers until the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) is established.

Requirements:
2-year associate’s degree is required.
5-10 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in a related industry.
Proficiency with computerized estimating software, including Accubid Anywhere, is highly preferred.
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical specifications and drawings.
Knowledge of electrical codes, specifically the National Electrical Code.
Experience sizing electrical power conduit and wire.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on customer follow-through.
Proficiency in MS Project, Google Suite, PDF File Editor, Word, Bluebeam, and Excel.
