Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of financial and accounting functions, such as general ledger, AR, AP, payroll and financial reporting
- Drive and lead timely preparation of financial statements
- Assist with the preparation of the annual budget, financial forecasts and variance analysis
- Partner with senior leadership to support and drive key business initiatives and process improvements
- Oversee audits and work with external auditors to ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards
- Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, providing mentoring and professional development
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience in a rapidly growing environment, with 3+ years in a leadership position
- Public accounting roots and/ or CPA preferred
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Passionate about leading a team
- Excited about scaling a company
