SkyWater is thrilled to be partnering with one of our favorite PE-backed manufacturing companies to add a CONTROLLER to their team!
We placed their Finance Manager several months ago and he completely raves about the company and the culture – everything he was hoping for (and more!)
For this role, we need –
• Strong manufacturing experience
•Someone who is passionate about leading and mentoring a team – you’ll be leading a team of five so this is definitely for someone who has extensive experience managing teams AND enjoys it!
• Public accounting roots and/ or CPA highly preferred
• Comfortable on-site five days a week

Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Analyze and present financial statements to senior leaders
- Collaborate with CFO to ensure effective internal controls are in place
- Supervise and mentor staff, providing continuous growth and development
- Assist the company’s external auditors in compiling annual financial statements
- Other ad hoc procedures, as deemed necessary
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in a fast-paced environment
- Public accounting and/ or CPA preferred
- Manufacturing experience required
- Strong management experience
- Passionate about implementing and streamlining new processes and procedures
