Location: Minneapolis, MN

Salary up to 165,000+ bonus potential
SkyWater is partnering with a fast growing healthcare company that is looking to hire their next Controller to lead their financial operations.
The Controller will have 5 direct reports and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounting and financial management.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience (with majority of experience in the healthcare industry), 3+ years at a controllership level, strong leadership skills, and someone who enjoys being a hands on leader.
The goal is for this person to eventually move into the CFO seat down the line.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the company’s accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of financial statements
- Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Partner with the executive leadership team to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Provide analysis and insights to guide strategic decisions
- Lead and mentor the accounting team
- Support the implementation and optimization of accounting systems and tools to streamline operations and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital to ensure the company’s financial health and stability.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (CPA highly preferred)
- 10+ years of experience with 3+ in a controller seat (with majority being within the healthcare industry)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
