Controller
We are excited to partner with a highly acquisitive, PE backed healthcare service provider here in the Twin Cities to help them find their next Controller! There is a ton of growth opportunity for this individual as they help our client scale and build out a team underneath them. Our client is local to the Twin Cities and operates on a hybrid schedule, so they offer a lot of flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger management, month-end close, and financial reporting.
- Own the consolidation process across multiple locations, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.
- Manage cash flow, forecasting, and budgeting to support the company’s rapid growth.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and other financial reporting requirements.
- Establish and refine accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls as the company scales.
- Handle payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, with a hands-on approach when necessary.
- Work closely with external auditors, tax advisors, and investors to ensure financial accuracy.
- Lead the optimization of accounting software
- In the future, build and mentor an accounting team as the company continues to grow.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance
- 5+ years of full cycle accounting experience
- CPA preferred
- Experience working with Sage
