Location: Plymouth, MN
Salary up to 160K + bonus (depends on experience)
SkyWater is partnering with a private equity-backed manufacturing company that is poised for significant growth, aiming to double revenue through organic expansion and acquisitions over the next 4-5 years.
They are seeking a Controller to lead financial operations, drive process improvements, and support strategic initiatives. This is a high-impact role with direct exposure to executive leadership and the private equity group..
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of accounting/finance experience, with a strong background in manufacturing, and at least 3 years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities
- Oversee financial operations, including month-end close, financial reporting, and audit preparation.
- Lead and develop a team of four direct reports
- Drive process improvements and implement scalable financial controls to support growth.
- Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to leadership and PE partner.
- Support M&A activities, including financial due diligence and integration.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 8+ years of accounting/finance experience, with a strong background in manufacturing.
- 3+ years of leadership experience
- Hands-on leader with a process-driven mindset and ability to scale financial operations.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
