Data Governance Manager (Minnesota-based)
SkyWater Search Partners has partnered with an established, Twin Cities-based organization to find and hire a Data Governance Manager. This is a direct-hire position in the Data Engineering department, reporting to the VP of Data Engineering.
This company is in growth mode right now, both organically and through acquisition and it’ll be a fun time to join this department as they launch their first iteration of dedicated data governance.
This team is looking to hire a Manager of Data Governance, overseeing a team of 2-3 and expecting it to grow. To be a fit, we’re looking for someone that has experience managing people in this space. This person will be responsible for helping define the policies, the direction and the leadership from a personnel standpoint. This person will be responsible for educating and training the other teams around them on how data governance will be achieved moving forward.
This is a salaried position, a hybrid work schedule and cannot offer sponsorship.
Desired Skills and Experience
-4 year technical degree -5+ years in data governance and related tools/tech -1+ year of managing people -Located in Minnesota -Cannot require sponsorship
