Director of Business Development
Our Client is a leading customer experience agency based in Minneapolis. Together, we are on the hunt for an exceptional Director of Business Development who brings 8+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, ideally within the realms of digital marketing, customer experience (CX), CRM agencies, or consulting environments.
This pivotal role will be crucial in propelling the agency’s growth by actively engaging and cultivating relationships with prospective clients. The ideal candidate will have a relationship-driven, solution-oriented approach to sales, ensuring an unparalleled level of service throughout the entire sales journey.
We are looking for a standout individual who can:
- Identify, prioritize, and strategically engage CX, marketing, and digital decision-makers within enterprise brands across key sectors.
- Build and manage a solid sales pipeline, with a strong focus on enterprise clients in key industries.
- Conduct in-depth market research to uncover lucrative opportunities, trends, and gain insights into the competitive landscape within targeted sectors.
- Drive top-of-funnel activities, including proactive outbound prospecting, effective networking, and relationship-building initiatives.
- Serve as a distinguished representative for the agency at industry conferences, webinars, and events, significantly enhancing the agency’s visibility and expanding its network within target industries.
Ideally, this candidate is based in the Twin Cities, but we are open to exploring remote candidates as well. Depending on location, there would be periodic travel to the agency’s Minneapolis headquarters.
