Director of Regulatory
We’re partnering with a food manufacturing client to find someone that can lead regulatory efforts across multiple manufacturing sites in the U.S. The ideal candidate will have spent their career mostly within the food/beverage industry, with a diverse skill set within regulatory, food safety, quality and customer compliance roles. This person will need to have previous experience leading efforts across multiple manufacturing sites.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the regulatory affairs team across multiple sites, fostering a culture of compliance and excellence.
- Develop and implement comprehensive regulatory strategies that align with corporate objectives and support new product development.
- Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies, ensuring transparent communication and effective relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and operations, to integrate regulatory requirements into processes.
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on regulatory compliance issues and best practices.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to enhance the regulatory knowledge of the team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering or related
- 10+ years of regulatory experience within food manufacturing
- 5+ years of leading teams
- Multi-site experience
