Director of Service and Solutions
.We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Service and Solutions to lead our Retail, Mobile Technician Services, and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Solutions teams. This individual will oversee a growing organization of 30+ team members, including 5 direct reports, driving operational excellence, sales growth, and customer satisfaction in the industrial distribution sector.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategies to enhance retail, mobile service, and VMI programs while driving revenue growth and operational efficiency.
- Operational Excellence: Optimize processes for mobile technician services, retail sales, and VMI solutions, ensuring top-tier service and customer satisfaction.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5 direct reports and a broader organization of 30+ employees across multiple locations.
- Market Expansion: Identify opportunities to grow service offerings, expand mobile service coverage, and increase market penetration in key industrial regions.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 8+ years of experience in industrial distribution sales, VMI programs, and branch operations.
- Proven leadership experience managing multi-site teams and service-oriented business units.
- Expertise in inventory management, logistics, and mobile service operations is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
