EHS Lead

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced EHS Lead to oversee and enhance our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about promoting a culture of safety and environmental stewardship, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving continuous improvement in EHS practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote safety initiatives and foster a culture of proactive risk management.
- Provide training and support to employees on EHS best practices, regulations, and emergency response procedures.
- Analyze data and metrics to track EHS performance and prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.
- Lead safety committees and facilitate safety meetings to enhance employee engagement and accountability.
- Stay current with EHS trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure best practices are maintained.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
- Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead and influence a diverse team.
- Certification in safety (e.g., CSP, CIH) is a plus.
- Proficient in data analysis and EHS management software.
