Electrical & Controls Engineer
SkyWater is partnering with an existing client who’s looking for an Electrical & Controls Engineer to join their team! The Electrical & Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing controls systems for our client’s products. They’ll work on PLC programming, producing electrical schematics, testing, wiring layout & routings, and much more. Our client is a successful small business who manufactures custom machines for a variety of industries. We’re looking for someone with electrical design and PLC programming experience who can hit the ground running in this position. Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement electrical solutions for custom machines.
- Plan, develop and execute testing of products to verify reliability & performance.
- Develop PLC & HMI programs for machines.
- Work with cross-functional engineering teams on projects.
- Other projects or responsibilities as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in an Electrical, Controls, Automation or similar position (or combination of positions).
- Ability to problem solve and make independent decisions.
- Strong communication skills (both written & verbal).
