Electrical Engineering Manager
SkyWater is partnering with a returning client in the West metro who’s looking to add an Electrical Engineering Manager to their fast-growing team! This person will be overseeing two departments providing leadership, ensuring high-quality standards, prioritizing tasks, and driving process improvements across the engineering teams. The Electrical Engineering Manager will also serve as a key liaison between the engineering departments and the Electrical Assembly teams. Our client is a fast-moving business so a strategic thinker will be important. Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the electrical and controls engineering department.
- Review
- Coordinate with engineering groups and delegate tasks to internal engineers
- Develop custom programming solutions based on client specifications and requirements.
- Estimating/quoting electrical specifications for the customer.
- Program and test various automated machinery and systems.
- Offer innovative solutions to improve equipment performance and department operations.
- Create electrical drawings and control panel layouts
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives and assist with employee development.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 7+ years of Electrical Engineering experience. Ideally in some sort of lead or supervisor position
- Expertise in in PLC Programming and Panel Design
- Strong ability to design and interpret technical drawings
- Detail-oriented and professional
- Strong management skills
