SkyWater is excited to be partnering with a dynamic and growing company that is seeking a FP&A Lead to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting key financial analyses on strategic business initiatives, delivering actionable insights, and supporting leadership with data-driven decision-making. This role requires a proactive mindset, the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources, and strong collaboration with business unit leaders to ensure comprehensive financial processes and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic finance partner, providing in-depth analyses on key business priorities.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to develop operational metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and financial reporting.
  • Guide business units through monthly rolling forecasts, conducting variance and trend analyses.
  • Effectively communicate financial insights and recommendations to drive business outcomes.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships to align financial goals with broader business strategies.
  • Support management in monitoring key financial indicators, identifying trends, and providing recommendations for performance improvement.
  • Develop financial models and business cases in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Lead initiatives focused on financial data transformation and standardization.
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial data, modeling, and reporting.
  • Contribute to ad hoc financial projects

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree with equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly navigate internal data sources to extract, analyze, and present key financial insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial planning and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships across departments.
  • Strong initiative, project management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
