Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test key financial controls.
- Identify control deficiencies, oversee remediation efforts, and report status to senior management.
- Develop and maintain SOX policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Conduct detailed walkthroughs of business processes to identify key controls.
- Partner with IT teams on system-related controls and security measures.
- Provide training and guidance to process owners on control requirements.
- Maintain audit documentation in accordance with professional standards.
- Build strong relationships with cross-functional business partners.
- Stay up to date on SOX regulations and internal control best practices.
- Lead special projects, operational audits, and investigations as needed.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 2+ years of public accounting experience and/ or internal audit
- CPA and/ or CIA preferred
- Manufacturing industry experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of SOX 404 compliance
- Proven ability to manage projects and deliver results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
