Junior Data Center Technician
SkyWater Search is excited to partner with a Global Quantitative Trading Firm to find a Jr. Data Center Technician for their server environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn how these environments work and gain valuable skills that will make you an invaluable part of the infrastructure that runs some of Chicago’s most valuable companies.
This is a full-time opportunity with good pay and benefits.
They need someone with some familiarity with networking and servers and who can be on-site during the following hours to keep 100% uptime during trading hours:
Tues-Thurs 8-5 Friday evening through Saturday morning.
This is an entry-level position and prior FinTech or data center experience is not required.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Familiarity with networking principals and server hardware.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong Communication skills.
- Ability to be on-site in Chicago during the above listed hours.
