SkyWater Search Partners is collaborating with a top construction company looking to add a Field Safety Specialist to their growing team. 

Job Overview:
A reputable construction company, specializing in asphalt production, paving, and aggregate business, seeks a Field Safety Specialist. This role is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of employees, equipment, and property. The ideal candidate will play a key role in promoting a culture of safety on job sites by conducting training, managing safety programs, and supporting incident investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and track employee safety concerns to resolution.
  • Lead safety initiatives, including conducting safety meetings, new hire training, and presentations.
  • Assist in investigating incidents and conducting root cause analysis.
  • Develop, implement, and review health and safety policies and programs.
  • Identify and assess hazardous conditions and recommend solutions.
  • Monitor safety performance and provide coaching to improve overall safety practices.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations through continuous training and education.
  • Oversee worker compensation claims related to assigned projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field (or equivalent education and 2+ years of experience).
  • OSHA 10 or 30 Hour Certification preferred.
  • Certification in First Aid/CPR or emergency medical response is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other safety-related software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in presentations and training.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • High degree of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
