Operations Manager
SkyWater is partnering with a manufacturer in the North metro to find an Operations Manager for their team! The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations for a small site while managing & mentoring their teams. This includes overseeing manufacturing & production, implementing lean manufacturing principles, training/mentoring employees, working with the GM & cross-functional managers, and much more. We’re looking for a strong manufacturing, production or operations leader who’s looking to make a big impact on a small business. Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 5 direct reports and 40 indirect.
- Work with the site GM on strategic initiatives.
- Oversee the day-to-day site operations.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Other project or responsibilities as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience within operations in a manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years of people management experience.
- Strong communication skills (both written & verbal).
- Ability to problem solve, multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.
