Portfolio Manager – Investment Management
SkyWater Search is partnering with a leading investment management firm in Minneapolis as they look to bring on an experienced, passionate Portfolio Manager to their client service team. This firm has a proven track record of delivering exceptional investment performance and personalized guidance to its clients, and it’s an exciting time to join the organization.
As a Portfolio Manager, you will provide clients with comprehensive financial advice and service, manage investment portfolios in accordance with firm models, and play a critical role in generating new business.
Responsibilities
Client Service: Providing exceptional service to clients. Sales: Generating new business and expanding existing relationships. This includes identifying potential clients, conducting sales presentations, and closing deals. Portfolio Management: Managing investment portfolios in accordance with firm models. This includes conducting research, making investment decisions within the context of firm models, monitoring performance, and making adjustments as necessary to achieve clients' goals. Compliance: Ensuring that all investments and activities are in compliance with firm and regulatory requirements.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Passionate about investment management, helping clients, and business development.
- 15+ years of experience in portfolio management and/or business development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of financial markets and investment strategies, or desire to learn.
- Professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) are preferred.
