Product Design Manager
The Product Design Manager will fully own the design process from a consumer-based context, including decision-making on design changes and direction of the team, while also having the ability to be dive into a project and take a hands-on approach when necessary. You will have the ability to take a conceptual idea through the industrial design process with the end merchant in mind.

Salary Range: 140k-220k
Responsibilities
- You will provide the design team with clear, upfront direction to streamline workflows and minimize rework. You should be capable of leading design efforts across both conceptual and retail-focused projects.
- Act as the primary liaison between the design team and other internal/external stakeholders. You will manage requests, disseminate requirements, and interface directly with major retail partners, reducing the bottleneck of leadership involvement.
- Attend key meetings in place of leadership when appropriate, ensuring alignment with client and merchant expectations.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 10+ year of experience in product design, ideally with leadership experience
- Highly proficient in tools like Illustrator, Photoshop, and Keyshot. Ideally, you can execute 3D modeling, create packaging in 3D space, and manage end-to-end design tasks.
- A background in retail-focused design and a variety of product categories is essential. You should understand client-specific needs, cost implications, and the nuances of designing for merchants.
- You should excel at proposing solutions proactively, understanding minimal direction, and knowing what questions to ask for clarity.
- You possess intellectual curiosity and capability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
