Project Engineer
SkyWater is partnering with an existing client to find a Project Engineer for their growing team! This role is open due to growth and would be working with an industry leader in the electronics manufacturing space. The Project Engineer will be responsible for managing projects throughout their lifecycle while working directly with customers & internal engineering teams on these projects. This includes working with customers to design custom products, quoting prices to customers, partnering with internal teams throughout project cycles (manufacturing, quality, etc.), and keeping projects on time & within budget for customers. Our client is looking for a degreed engineer with around 3+ years of experience (project engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar positions). Responsibilities
- Design products and work directly with customers on custom projects.
- Provide quotes to customers and keep projects within budget.
- Work with internal engineering teams (manufacturing, quality, etc.) throughout project lifecycles.
- Maintain communication with customers and provide consistent project updates.
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in design, mechanical or project engineering roles (or combination of similar roles).
- Strong communication skills (both verbal & written).
- Ability to prioritize work responsibilities and multi-task.
