Project Manager

The company, based in Vadnais Heights, MN, is seeking a Project Manager to support both current and upcoming municipal and industrial wastewater projects.
Job Summary: The Project Manager will take full responsibility for managing ongoing projects. Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
- Overseeing multiple projects at various stages, ensuring that all aspects such as schedules, field service activities, budgets, quality, customer satisfaction, and project scope are well-managed.
- Maintaining strong relationships with customers and vendors.
- Managing the supply chain, including vendor negotiations, vendor management, and warehouse/inventory oversight. The role will also involve managing vendor contracts and ensuring tasks and deliverables are communicated effectively.
- Supporting continuous improvement objectives for the team and contributing to overall growth goals.
- Performing other tasks as needed.
This role will be integral to the operations team and will coordinate daily activities among process engineering, field services, design technicians, and sales. The Project Manager will oversee the project from pre-bid through to construction, start-up, and commissioning.
Job Requirements:
- B.S. or M.S. in civil, environmental, or mechanical engineering preferred.
- 2–5+ years of experience in project management or construction management.
- Experience in supply chain or construction management.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead a cross-functional project team.
- Technical knowledge in wastewater treatment processes or mechanical equipment preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
- Ability to quickly learn and understand mechanical and civil technical details.
- Proven experience in data and document management.
- Strong problem-solving and conceptual thinking abilities related to engineering solutions and supplier management.
- Experience in managing multiple high-priority projects and optimizing project costs and efficiencies.
