Quality Engineer
SkyWater is looking to to bring on a Quality Engineer whose responsibilities will be to ensure that the final product not only meets customer expectations but also adheres to industry standards and regulations, contributing to the overall success and reputation of the company.
Your responsibilities will include designing quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, assisting in product troubleshooting, developing quality control systems & determining corrective actions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality plan to align with global GMP regulations and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Ensure the effectiveness and cost-efficiency of quality systems, updating the Quality Manual as needed and implementing corrective actions for nonconformance.
- Organize and conduct internal quality audits, facilitating communication with external suppliers and internal teams to maintain production standards.
- Promote quality performance and continuous improvement across the organization by aligning different teams to formulate and implement quality procedures.
- Maintain and enhance quality standards throughout the global supply chain, including vendor qualifications, audits, and continuous improvement activities.
- Lead strategic regulatory submissions and ensure worldwide compliance by providing leadership, overseeing tests and procedures, and taking necessary actions for product modifications.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years in Quality Assurance
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical & software components
- Experience troubleshooting circuit design.
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610, J Standard, and PCBA standards and regulations
- Willing to be ON-SITE 5x/week.
