SkyWater is partnering with a world leading manufacturer and innovator in the medical device industry. With a 50-year legacy of innovation, they represent a diverse product line of capital equipment ranging from $5k to $350k.

The RSM position offers the opportunity to manage an established pipeline while driving new business in a high-performing territory (MN, WI, and surrounding states). You’ll collaborate with seasoned team members, receive extensive training, and benefit from recurring revenue opportunities in addition to the high-dollar capital sales. With a strong CRM system and data insights to support your efforts, you’ll have the tools to succeed.

Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in industrial or capital equipment sales, a knack for sourcing new customers, and proficiency in tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM platforms. Mechanical or engineering knowledge is a plus, but the role doesn’t require technical quoting or design. Compensation includes a competitive base salary with uncapped earning potential, starting at $140K in year one and exceeding $200K+ as you grow your portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and expand an existing pipeline while developing new business within the Midwest territory.
  • Identify and engage potential customers through targeted outreach and lead generation strategies.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track leads and manage territory performance effectively.
  • Travel within the assigned territory and to the company’s headquarters for training and team collaboration.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of successful sales experience in capital equipment or industrial products.
  • Strong ability to develop new business using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and CRM platforms.
  • Background in industrial or manufacturing environments; familiarity with mechanical concepts is a plus.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a track record of meeting sales goals.
