Remote Structural Steel Detailer
Seeking a Structural Steel Detailer to join the detailing team. This role will use Tekla to develop 3D models, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings for misc. metal and steel fabrications on a wide variety of custom projects.
We offer in-person, hybrid, or remote capabilities and an excellent benefit package including 7 weeks of PTO for new employees.
Responsibilities
- Develop layout and shop drawings for steel and misc. metal structures from customer design drawings
- Develop 3D modeling and erection drawings
- Develop installation, fabrication, and assembly instructions for manufacturing teams
- Apply expertise for conformance and structural design modeling
- Utilize Tekla to design and draft daily
Desired Skills and Experience
- Strong proficiency in Tekla, Advanced Steel, or a similar program
- Associate's Degree or High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2+ years experience in a structural detailing
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to be able to communicate effectively with customer and colleagues
- Strong organizational skills
