SkyWater is partnering on a Sales Director role with one of our top clients. I have placed several sales reps at this company and they have a top-notch team that’s down to earth.

Their current leader is retiring, so they have partnered with us to find their replacement and ensure the sales team is in great hands. This position has 6 direct reports, managing a team of outside sales engineers who sell custom automation solutions to a variety of industries.

Here’s what we’re targeting for this individual:

  • Sales leadership focused on team management & development
  • Technical sales or automation background
  • Hands-on leadership approach: goal setting, ride-alongs, etc.
  • In-office in the NW metro of Minneapolis
  • Market analysis capabilities – strategic direction for the sales team
  • Markets served: Industrial, Agriculture, Medical, Life Science, etc.

  • Sales team leadership and coaching
  • Driving new business growth
  • Revenue strategy and execution
  • Company leadership
  • Creation and oversight of sales training and processes

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of sales management experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Automation industry experience
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Negotiation expertise
