Senior Accountant
One of our clients is looking to add a skilled Senior Accountant to their team! This is nearly a $50M business with a strong mission and every intention of continuing their growth. This individual will have a dotted line to executive leadership and partner directly with the head of finance- allowing for a ton of exposure!

Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Process accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate invoice payments.
- Process and reconcile credit card transactions and employee expense reports.
- Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns.
- Assist in the preparation of annual audit schedules and external reporting requirements.
- Evaluate accounting processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.
- Assist in implementing automation and streamlining financial reporting.
- Support ad hoc projects and financial analysis as needed.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with finance, operations, and leadership teams to support business objectives.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong foundation in financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
