Senior Accounting Manager
SkyWater is partnering with a family-owned manufacturing company that is looking to hire their next Senior Accounting Manager. The role will report directly to the President and will be the lead of the accounting team. This role comes with internal advancement opportunities and is looking for a leader to make impact on their managing team.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing company, have experience with cost accounting and also experience leading a team of direct reports.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the accounting team of 3-4 individuals
- Perform financial analysis
- Oversee cost accounting & pricing
- Prepare journal entries & maintain bi-weekly payroll
- Prepare financial statements
- Lead month-end close process & process improvement
- Perform variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 5+ years of total experience
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Strong in ERP systems
- Develop, train, and mentor staff
- Advanced Microsoft Office experience
