Senior Data Engineer
We are working with a prestigious hedge fund that has achieved remarkable growth over the past two years. A well-established firm, they are still continuing to innovate, and are building out their data team here in Minneapolis. They’re looking for a data engineer with experience in dimensional modeling, and data warehouse performance.
As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll be developing in their Azure environment (ADF, and Azure SQL) and building out new models. You’ll also lead data integrations into their warehouse. This role will be cross functional, and will give you the chance to contribute in design sessions, and work directly with key stakeholders across all of their business units.

Responsibilities
- Create high-end data pipelines, and improve their Kimball-style dimensional modeling.
- Data model inside of their data warehouse, building new models, and improving existing models.
- Present complex ideas to their technical and non-technical team members.
- Work on data integration development initiatives and projects.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Must be strong in Azure, Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL.
- Experience working in the financial services industry is highly preferred.
- This is a small team that will require a high level of ownership and autonomy, must have experience working on net new projects.
- The ability to work Hybrid in the SW suburbs is a must.
