Senior Data Engineer (Minnesota / Wisconsin only; Azure)
We have been retained by a longtime Twin Cities based client where we placed the CIO to bring on a Senior Data Engineer. This hire will be responsible for helping spearhead their lift and shift to Azure. I’m looking for someone who has the technical chops to drive data modernization efforts and act as a technical lead for a small team. To be successful you must be able to design + architect the framework then build it out (hands on coding role).
Desired Skills and Experience
- 7+ years’ experience in data engineering with ability to design, build, maintain scalable data infrastructure + pipelines
- Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL, Synapse Analytics, ETL, Python, Spark
- Solid communication skills and ability to work with a varied audience
- Flexible hybrid schedule (3 days on-site) and may consider mostly remote options as well for the right candidate in MN/WI
- This is a full time permanent position with a salary, 15% target bonus, benefits. Cannot require sponsorship
