SkyWater is thrilled to partner with a rapidly growing, family-owned company on their search for a Senior Financial Analyst (SFA). This entrepreneurial and innovative middle-market company specializes in manufacturing products you use every day and has experienced impressive growth, expanding from $300M in revenue to $1.3B in just under 5 years. This role offers a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on the business by improving processes, implementing new reporting systems for leadership, and driving critical financial insights.

The hiring leader is passionate about developing her team, and she is looking for someone that loves to take initiative, lead projects independently, and has the desire to grow into a senior leadership role.
 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Analyze financial results against budgets and forecasts and identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Communicate budget and forecast updates and results to senior management and provide recommendations on actions to improve financial performance.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and trend analysis.
  • Leading and assisting project teams with financial guidance, projections, and modeling. Performing ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently, prioritize competing demands, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Initiative to gain insights and implement process improvements and efficiencies where needed
