Senior Financial Analyst
SkyWater is thrilled to be partnering with a dynamic and mission-driven organization that is looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to their growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in financial planning, forecasting, and operational expense management, ensuring the company maintains financial health while driving strategic growth. This is a hybrid position, with 1-2 days per week onsite.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage operating expense forecasts and budgets, collaborating with department leaders.
- Analyze financial performance trends, variances, and key drivers to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting insights and opportunities for efficiency.
- Assist in financial modeling and scenario planning to drive cost-effective operations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize spending and resource allocation.
- Support the annual budgeting process and contribute to long-term financial planning initiatives.
- Improve financial processes, systems, and reporting to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), operational finance, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting tools, and ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to stakeholders.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
