Senior Financial Reporting Analyst
SkyWater is thrilled to be partnering with our client in the central metro area on an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst. This role is a key part of the external reporting team, ensuring compliance with financial disclosure and reporting standards. The ideal candidate has a strong background in SEC reporting, technical accounting, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing quarterly and annual financial statements, including footnotes and required disclosures.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and regulatory reporting standards.
- Collaborate with Investor Relations on financial communications such as earnings releases.
- Stay up to date on accounting standards and assess their impact on reporting procedures.
- Partner with internal teams, external auditors, and legal advisors on financial reporting matters.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA preferred).
- 2-3 years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) or a mix of public/private industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Excel, financial reporting software, and ERP systems (SAP, OneStream a plus).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines. This position offers a hybrid work model with in-office collaboration three days per week.
